Stop Xenophobia!!!

Xenophobia is a fear or contempt for what is foreign or unknown. Especially of foreigners or foreign people... STOP XENOPHOBIA! Xenophobia can be based on various aspects, where as racism is based soley on race and ancestry. Since May 2008, there has been a spate of attacks against foreigners in South African townships. 50 people have so far been killed, while others are tortured. The violence in these townships is mainly aimed at foreigners who are either asylum seekers or refugees. Xenophobia is not only happening in South Africa but all over the world, like in Japan, Dominican Rep, Switzerland and former yugoslavia. I believe that this is yet another social problem for us to add to our long list.
